Dermal Fillers

As we age, our faces naturally lose fat from certain places, whilst gaining it in other areas and this results in the face changing shape and slumping. Loss of the more superficial fat contributes to the development of lines such as crow’s feet and smile lines. Loss of the deep fat causes the cheeks to lose their youthful shape. The facial skin also stretches a bit, exaggerating this loss of facial volume. Dermal fillers help to diminish facial lines and restore volume and fullness to the face in key areas, restoring the face to a more youthful shape and appearance.

Dermal fillers can be safely used to:

  • Plump thin lips
  • Enhance shallow contours
  • Soften facial creases and wrinkles
  • Reconstruct contour deformities
  • Decrease or remove the shadow of the lower lids
  • Improve the appearance of recessed scars

Dermal fillers can be used to treat those with early signs of ageing, as well as to recontour an older face, correct the size and shape of features that are misaligned or out of balance, and as part of facial rejuvenation surgery.
